Biography
Roger Grasas, born in Barcelona in 1970, is a graduate in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona and a graduate in Photography from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Since the late 1990s his photography has documented, in a cryptic and thoughtful way, urban and interurban landscapes around the world, focusing especially on the transformation of contemporary post-modern societies in which technology, alienation and estrangement play a leading role.
Biography
Nascut a Barcelona l'any 1970, Roger Grasas és Llicenciat en Filosofia (UB) i Graduat en Fotografia (UPC). Des de finals dels anys 90 documenta amb una mirada críptica i reflexiva el paisatge urbà e interurbà d'arreu del món, centrant-se especialment en la transformació de les societats postmodernes contemporànies en les quals la tecnologia, l'alienació i l'estranyament són trets essencials.
